The Fastest-Growing Room in Golf

Indoor golf stopped being a compromise. Here's what that means for the room you're about to build — and why we carry exactly one simulator brand.

The interesting shift isn't the money. It's what buyers are asking about.

Five years ago, the simulator conversation was a specifications argument. Radar accuracy. Ball speed tolerance. Whether your carry number was within a yard and a half of the truth. Buyers compared launch monitors the way audiophiles compare turntables — obsessively, and mostly about hardware.

Ask a serious buyer today and you'll hear an entirely different list:

- Does the software actually get better every year, or did the roadmap end at launch?
- Is there AI-assisted swing analysis, or just a wall of numbers I have to interpret alone?
- Does my player profile live in the cloud, so my indoor sessions and my range sessions are one data set instead of two?
- Can my family play a course together on a Sunday, or is this a solo practice machine

Manufacturers have noticed. The competition has moved from radar specifications to software ecosystems, cloud player profiles, practice analytics, and multiplayer experience. Which points at a conclusion we've been making editorially for a while, and now get to say with a market chart behind us:

That's not a knock on engineering. It's a recognition that when everyone's numbers are good, the thing that determines whether a $15,000 room gets used four times a week or four times total is the *experience wrapped around* the numbers.
